Patrick Romano and Benjamin Behrend Present

A Spoof of the American Solo Show

About the Show

TWO-MAN, ONE-MAN is a three-man show about two one-man shows. After a venue accidentally double-books their respective one-man shows, a performance artist and a comedian must perform on the same stage at the same time. With another show at the top of the hour and a stage manager on their asses, they must compete for the spotlight or agree to share it.

Will they work together? Will they kill each other? Will they somehow teach each other lifelong lessons about art, sense of self, and collaboration in just under an hour? Probably not, but maybe!

This riotous comedy spoofs millennials, privileged artists, and the phenomenon of the solo show.

"★★★★- Performed with a wry smile, professional polish...the seamless mix of writing and improvisation explores the potential and limitations of both drama and comedy for communicating stories." (The Scotsman)

“Sublimely silly... a goofy, wonderful gem.” (Broad Street Review).

"★★★★" (TimeOut).

Written and Performed by Patrick Romano and Benjamin Behrend.
